Organic cotton is any type of cotton that is grown without chemicals and from plants that are not genetically engineered. Its production sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people by using natural processes rather than artificial inputs.
No Toxic Chemicals
Organic cotton farming does not allow the use of toxic chemicals or GMOs (genetically modified organisms). No toxic chemicals are used in the growing of organic cotton. It doesn’t damage the soil, has less impact on the air, and uses less water and less energy.
Happy T's, is our range of 100% organic cotton t-shirts. To show our support towards using organic cotton and using sustainable farming methods, we gave part proceeds from the sale of our organic Tee collection to the NGO Chetna Vikas - a non-profit social organisation based in India. They primarily work with organic cotton farmers from the Vidarbha region which has been plagued by farmer's suicides for over a decade. They have been aiding over 5,000 families across 120 villages in Wardha.
